Grand Opening of Schreiber Municipal Building

SCHREIBER, ON – Monday, July 12th, 2010 members of the media and various dignitaries including Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forests the Hon. Michael Gravelle and many council members from the neighbouring community of Terrace Bay, enjoyed a tour of Schreibers new municipal complex before witnessing the official ribbon cutting for this building.

A congratulatory letter is read on behalf of Terrace Bay Mayor Micheal King.

The complex, once a school, has been upgraded and renovated thanks to the Municipal Infrastructure Investment Initiative (MIII), a program which  supports the efforts of communities to restore and revitalize their public infrastructure resulting  in improved local public facilities and services that make Ontario an even more attractive place in which to live, work, visit and invest.

Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forests the Hon. Michael Gravelle helps Schreiber Mayor Madge Richardson cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening of Schreiber's Municipal Complex.
