Return Home of Thunder Bay Rappers (ADULT CONTENT)

Thunder Bay Rappers Jordan Burnell (left) and Coleman Hell (right). Submitted photo.

NORTHERN ONTARIO – Thunder Bay Rappers Jordan Burnell and Coleman Hell, better known as Burnz N Hell became widely popular, beyond their Northern Ontario backyard, this spring after the release of their mixed tape 807 & Heartbreak.  Well the pair have not forgotten where they are from; they are back in Thunder Bay and will perform Saturday at Crocks on Cumberland.

We spoke to Jordan and Coleman last week. About bringing Northern Rap to warmer venues and how they have been received, they laughed of the disconnect between Southern and Northern Ontario residents, were candid about still feeling a 10 hour day in the studio was pure enjoyment rather than work and shared information regarding new videos in the works.

Apologies for the state of this recording, I had not realized that one foot on the tripod was not locked and decided to publish the interview none the less as it seemed a waste to keep it to myself (which would mean I’d also have wasted the guys time had I chosen not to publish)… So, lean over in your chair, tilt your laptop, whatever works to allow you to watch and enjoy. Thanks to Jordan and Coleman for taking time out of their busy schedule (they had not yet made the trek to Thunder Bay when we spoke and were still down South) to touch base with fans from the Northshore and Greenstone).
