MARATHON, ON – March 7, 2012 the Manitouwadge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified that an ice fishing hut on Nagagami Lake was broken into and ice fishing equipment was stolen.
After investigating the incident and getting information from the victim and witnesses, Manitouwadge OPP officers located and charged 3 males from Manitouwadge with Break/Enter and Theft and Possession of stolen property. The property was seized and returned to the owner. The names of the accused are being withheld as the incident is still under investigation.
The accused were released from custody and will appear in Manitouwadge court May 16, 2012 to answer to the charges.
