SCHREIBER, ON – Wednesday, June 20th, Holy Angels Grade 8 Graduation began, as is tradition, with a Mass. An Awards Ceremony followed, recognizing those students who had achieived special goals in their academic, spiritual, social or athletic endeavors (see below).

Following Mass, a delicious supper was catered by Drifters Restaurant at the Schreiber Rec Centre for the Graduates, their family and friends, and the staff members who were saying bittersweet goodbyes. Holy Angels staff have watched many of these young people grow since kindergarten and though they are very proud to be seeing them move on to Lake Superior High School and new learning challenges, they are sad to see the close of their educational journey at Holy Angels.

After supper, the graduates and their mom or dad shared the first dance before most of the adults took leave to make room for friends and future classmates at LSHS. The dance was then open to all schools and many of those students who will be joining the Holy Angels grads from other elementary schools joined in the celebration.
