LAKE SUPERIOR PROVINCIAL PARK, ON – May 4, 2013 at around 5:00 pm the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were advised that a human skull and bones had been found near the Baldhead River on the shore of Lake Superior.
OPP investigation determined that the remains found were part of an ancient burial ground. Batchawana First Nation was advised and the site as well as the remains was turned over to them.
