MANITOUWADGE, ON – Yesterday evening, the Township of Manitouwadge Community Services held a Halloween Drop-In for kids and their caregivers at the Rec Centre Auditorium.

For just a toonie per child (or $5/family) kids could have their fortune’s read by a Fortune Teller who was impressively accurate (thanks to either her crystal ball or her close relationship with a Community Services staffer), enjoy ‘Witches Brew”, crafting a “ghost”, colouring Halloween themed pages, or enjoy other not-too-spooky activities. Many attendees came costumed, some parents explaining that the evening was replacing traditional door-to-door candy canvassing for their younger ghouls, uh girls, or boys.

We’d like to hear your thoughts, did you attended? What was your child’s favourite part of the evening? Are you one of the parents choosing the evening in favour of Trick or Treating? Share your comments below!
