MANITOUWADGE, ON – The Manitouwadge High School (MHS) Wolverines are hosts to the 2013-14 NWOSSAA Boys Volleyball Championships which began today, Thursday, November 14th 2013. In addition to the MHS Wolverines (Superior-Greenstone District School Board); École Secondaire Catholique LaVérendrye’s Vipers (Conseil Scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales) from Thunder Bay and Queen Elizabeth District High School’s Warriors (Keewatin Patricia District School Board) from Sioux Lookout will battle for the banner and the chance to represent Northwestern Ontario at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) championships.
In this first game MHS Wolverines face the ESCLV Vipers.
Games would continue with ESCLV Vipers against the QEDHS Warriors at 2pm and hometown MHS Wolverines returning to the court to battle QEDHS Warriors at 7pm (that game was partially streamed live on the OntarioNewsNorth.com home page and will be available to view in its entirety here on our youtube channel courtesy of Linda Oseicki).
The final game when Manitouwadge VS. Sioux Lookout for the NWOSSA banner, is romorrow morning; Friday, November 15th at 9am, and will be streamed live in its entirety on www.OntarioNewsNorth.com’s home page.
