RED ROCK, ON – The Kindergarten class along with the grade 1 /2’s at St. Hilary School celebrated the 100th day of school this week.  The 100thday of school is something we have been excited for since our first school day in September.  We have been eagerly tracking our days while learning about grouping and counting by 10’s and counting to 100.  The 100th day of school celebrates 100 days of learning and the significant progress that students have made since September.

We celebrated with activities that included sorting out 100 snack pieces into groups of 10, making special hats with 100 stickers and taking them on parade, writing about what we would do with $100 dollars and bringing in collections of 100 for display in the class.  It was a very busy day with many activities all centered on the number 100 and the many ways to make 100.
Students had a great time celebrating one hundred days of learning!
