MANITOUWADGE, ON – Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st, athletes from Manitouwadge, Marathon and Hornepayne attended Manitouwadge High School to compete in the 2014 MHS Invitational Badminton Tournament. This annual tournament is another important fundraiser for the high school’s athletes who qualify to represent the school at regional and provincial level championships.

Approximately 50 players competed in the two-day tournament, which was double-elimination for Men’s and Ladies’ Singles and Doubles and triple-elimination for the Mixed Doubles teams all competitors had a 3 game guarantee.
