QUEEN’S PARK, ON – “Today New Democrats made it clear that we have lost confidence in the Liberals and their endless waste. The Liberal budget is a desperate attempt to distract Ontarians from the countless scandals by making promises we know they won’t keep.
“People in Algoma-Manitoulin have told me they want to see a government that stands up for working families and that respects people’s tax dollars. They want to see action on issues that matter to Northerners. The Liberals have no plan for creating jobs, lowering hydro rates, improving winter road maintenance or rural health care.
“Ontarians are tired of the lip service and deserve action. We need to create good paying jobs, stimulate industry in the North and make life more affordable. We have seen the Liberal’s track record, and it’s not good. People in this province deserve a government that makes sense, and they know that New Democrats are the only ones who will deliver that. On June 12, 2014, you can make that happen.”
