MANITOUWADGE, ON – June 21st the Manitouwadge High School Athletic Association held their annual Open Beach Volleyball Tournament, a fundraiser supporting both the association and the Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group. Teams from Manitouwadge and Marathon, composed of students, teachers and other volleyball enthusiasts provided 2 days of very entertaining volleyball for those who attended as spectators [Scroll down for video playlist below photo gallery or CLICK HERE to view playlist on youtube.com/OntarioNewsNorth].
Organizer Wayne Pittman (MHS Teacher and Coach) was very pleased with the turnout and credited all the players with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The final tally on funds raised was an impressive $537 to be shared between the MHSAA and the MCAG.
