MARATHON, ON – During the Council meeting held on Monday, May 26, 2014, Council announced their intention to fill a vacant seat on Council created by the passing of Dustin Pascoe, by appointment.
The Town of Marathon is currently seeking candidates interested in appointment to the office of Councillor, for a term to expire November 30, 2014.
Candidates are required to submit a resume with details regarding their qualifications. In addition to the resume, each candidate is also required to complete the following forms which are available on the Town of Marathon’s website or at the Town Office:
- Declaration of Qualification
- FOI Release
Documents must be submitted in person by the candidate to the Town of Marathon, Deputy Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 4 Hemlo Drive, Marathon, ON P0T 2E0. The deadline for applications is Friday, June 6, 2014 before 1:00 p.m.
