Crimestoppers : Crime of the Week + Halloween Fundraiser

crimestoppers-tbaydistrictCrime Stoppers and the OPP are asking for your help in solving a Break & Enter that occurred in in the Town of Longlac.

Sometime between 1:00 am and 9:00 am on September 9th 2014 someone broke into a fully enclosed gazebo on Bayview Street while the home owners were inside their residence.  The culprits stole a 14 foot aluminum Lund boat with a 15HP Yamaha four stroke outboard motor and a 60 inch Samsung smart TV.

The boat was located on the shoreline of Long Lake with no motor next to another boat.

The TV and the boat motor are still outstanding and the owner of the other boat is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information about who may be responsible for this terrible crime or who knows where the stolen property is located is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a web tip at www.TipSubmit.com.

The event will get underway at 8pm, Friday, October 24, 2014.  Registration fee is $25/adult and $10/ youth 16 years and under.  Register online at www.tbdcs.ca or in-person at Fresh Air Experience on Saturday, October 18 from 10am to 2pm. Prizes will be awarded for top costumes and top fundraisers.
