OPP Conduct Drug Trafficking Investigation in Schreiber & Terrace Bay

oppcolourSCHREIBER, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Northwest Region OPP, and the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service (NAPS) conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) undercover police investigation in the towns of Terrace Bay and Schreiber, Ontario.   

February 5, 2015 three males were arrested and charged as a result of an ongoing investigation.   Investigators seized cannabis marihuana, cocaine, and Canadian Currency.

Charged is a 26 year old male, Paul MILBURN of Terrace Bay, Ontario with:

  • Trafficking Cocaine;
  • Trafficking Marihuana, contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance act and;
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code.

A 17 year old male of Terrace Bay, Ontario has been charged with:

  • Four counts of Trafficking marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and;
  •  Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code.

A third male, a 17 year old of Schreiber, Ontario has been charged with:

  • Two counts of Trafficking marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act;
  • Two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and;
  • Mischief Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code.

The males are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Schreiber on April 23, 2015 to answer to these charges.

An arrest warrant remains outstanding for one adult male for further drug trafficking charges.  The investigation is continuing.
