SSM Algoma Crimestoppers : Theft in Blind River

SSMcrimestoppersSAULT STE. MARIE, ON – Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District Crime Stoppers and the Blind River Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the public’s assistance in solving a theft.

Sometime between April 3 and April 7 2015 six Stihl model chainsaws were stolen from a business on Highway 17 west of Blind River. The items were taken from the locked back cap of a truck located in a fenced compound.

These industrial sized chainsaws had “Algoma Forestry” engraved on the handles, “AAI” on the chain guards and ranged from 12” – 18” in bar length.

The stolen chainsaws are valued at $4500.
