Wawa OPP Reminds Motorists to Lock It Or Lose It

oppcolourWAWA, ON – The Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding all motorists and property owners to keep their vehicles locked when unattended and keep their property secure.   

Motorists and property owners are encouraged to keep all valuables out of their vehicles when unattended and to secure their property in order to deter criminals.

Here are some suggestions which will promote safety and protect your property:

  • Lock all doors and windows of your vehicle after exiting.
  • Don’t leave personal identification or valuables in your vehicle.
  • Consider installing anti-theft device on your vehicle.
  • Keep your garage doors and windows locked.
  • Install motion sensors for automatic light activation.
