MANITOUWADGE, ON – Recently Manitouwadge Public School Grade 7 and 8 students were invited to participate in a School / College / Work initiative sponsored by Confederation College in Thunder Bay.

Students were treated to a bus trip to Thunder Bay and ‘camped out’ in the residence at the college.  They were provided with an amazing hands on experience in various college programs, possibly influencing their future career choices.

The trip to Thunder Bay was an ‘experience’ that the students will remember for many years to come and that we trust will serve them well as motivation through their high school years ahead. Of course enjoying a movie was a great treat as was the shopping most snuck in (who could resists while in Thunder Bay). Once again our young people from MPS proved to be GREAT ambassadors of our school and community by being extremely well behaved.  Their trip, just another great advantage of being a student at MPS!
