Temporary Road Closure Tomorrow
THUNDER BAY, ON – The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to advise the public of the following temporary road closure on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
Lakeshore Drive, at the east intersection of Highway 11/17 will be closed for approximately two hours commencing at 8:00 am.
OPP are requesting motorists use alternate routes such as, Mackenzie Station Road, Lakeshore Drive, west intersection, to access Highway 11/17.
OPP are also requesting motorists travelling on Highway 11/17 to slow down in this area as well.
Officers will be conducting follow up investigation regarding a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred at that location on August 9, 2015.
