From 1964-1968, a James Bond-ish style show filled TV screens from coast to coast. Unlike many classic shows of that time, Man From U.N.C.L.E. seemed to fall off of people’s radar until it was announced that a movie would be made. Following a similar plot as the TV Show, the movie released in theatres on August 14^th and is now set to debut on DVD and Blu-Ray as this week’s headline new release.

There are five new titles in total with a brief synopsis of each below;

Man From U.N.C.L.E.: starring Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer – A CIA agent and a KGB operative participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization posing a nuclear threat. (Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!

We are Your Friends: starring Zac Efron and Wes Bentley – An aspiring DJ and his friends struggle in their attempts to find fame and fortune while also dealing with forbidden relationships and shady business dealings. (Drama) (DVD) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!

Pay the Ghost: starring Nicolas Cage – A man and his estranged wife partake in a desperate search for their son who went missing during a Halloween parade. (Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!

Jimmy’s Hall: starring Barry Ward – During the depression, a man returns home to Ireland and seeks to reopen a dance hall in his poverty stricken community. (Drama) (Blu-Ray)

Garm Wars The Last Druid: starring Kevin Durand – In a world where clone soldiers from three military tribes are locked in a battle of air, land and technology, one clone is separated from the rest and finds herself on the run with a group of unlikely companions. (Sci-Fi/Action) (DVD)

Star Wars Battlefront: Immerse yourself in epic battles and create new heroic moments of your own in this all new game based on the iconic movie franchise. Multiplayer modes available! 2015 Christmas Extravaganza:

The 2015 Chamber of Commerce Christmas Extravaganza is this weekend! On Friday, November 20^th from 5pm-9pm and Saturday, November 21^st from 11am-4pm, local businesses, crafters and non profit organizations will have their offerings on full display at the Moose Hall in Marathon. Crossover Video and Games will be attendance with a table full of goodies! Also in attendance will be Bonnie Davis of Regal, with loads of great and affordable Christmas gift ideas! Led by Cheryl Ivany, the Extravaganza seems to be getting bigger and better every year as a whopping 35 tables will be on display for shoppers to peruse!
