TERRACE BAY, ON – Despite Mother Nature working against us, the Lake Superior High School Stingers were out in full force on Halloween night collecting money for the Furget-Me -Not Animal Shelter.

Our dedicated volunteers went door to door collecting funds for our local animal shelter. The money collected helps support the animals as they await adoption to their forever home.

This year, the towns of Terrace Bay and Schreiber generously donated $2144.09. In the over 13 years that Lake Superior High School has supported the annual Trick or Treat for the Humane Society, our towns have donated over $25,000 to support this worthy cause.

We are overwhelmed by the continued support and generosity for the annual Trick or Treat for the Humane Society event and we thank all the volunteers who helped make the event a success and we thank all those that donated.

Please check out Furget-me-not-Animal Shelter on Facebook. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Diana Montey. Donations and assistance throughout the year are greatly appreciated!

See you next Halloween!

Stacey Wallwin, Lake Superior High School
