Thunder Bay District Crime of the Week (Videos)

THUNDER BAY, ON – The Thunder Bay Police Service and Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers are looking for the public to help identify the person responsible for arson earlier this fall.

The video below shows a male walking around the rear parking area of Tractor Trailer Service located at 64 Water Street around 6:00 a.m. on October 5th, 2015.  A fire is started in a pile of tires beside a tractor trailer that was being used for storage and then the male left the area heading north.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue arrives a short time later and put out the fire before it could spread to the adjacent buildings.  A significant amount of damage was done to the tractor trailer.

The suspect is described as a male wearing baggy medium coloured sweat pants and a dark colored hoodie and hat with white shoes with reflective markings.  Please take a look at the way the male moves and his mannerisms, if you recognize him please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.tipsubmit.com.
