OPP Charge Two Local Residents With Theft
WAWA, ON – On Sunday January 24, 2016 the Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft complaint from a local Wawa business. During the investigation police interviewed witnesses and viewed surveillance video from the establishment.
As a result of this investigation police arrested and charged Deborah KOMARNISKI (54) and Blake John KOMARNISKI (32) of Wawa Ontario with the following offence;
- Adult Theft Under $5000- Shoplifting contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Both accused were released on a Promise to Appear and are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa Ontario on the April 4, 2016 to answer to the charge.
