Police Respond to Unwanted Person Call in Wawa

OPPcolourWAWA, ON – On Tuesday February 9, 2016 members of the Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an unwanted person call at a local Wawa address.

At the scene officers noted that the unwanted female party had been consuming alcohol and was displaying signs of intoxication.

As a result of this investigation police arrested and charged a 26 years old Wawa female with the following offence;

  • Being intoxicated in a common area contrary to section 31(4) of the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario.

The female was later released and issued an offence notice for the offence.
