SCHREIBER, ON – Holy Angels School Grade 5 -8 girls recently took part in the Dressing Room Project, a program delivered by the Health Unit. The program was created by Emerging Women Projects as a global positive body image initiative.
Students talked about how images in the media influence how we see ourselves and others. The girls created inspirational positive body image postcards empowering themselves to appreciate their natural size and shape.
The girls will be putting these cards in our washroom mirrors as reminders to themselves and their peers to appreciate what they see reflected.
