WAWA, ON – On Thursday April 14, 2016 at approximately 5:38 pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were advised of a theft. The incident took place at a local Wawa business. Taken was a red Road Vault 450 litres fuel tank model # 264611 and a 12v heavy duty high flow fuel pump with a 1 inch hose and Husky nozzle, the value of items taken is estimated at approximately $2000.00. The theft occurred sometime between Tuesday April 5 and Friday April 8, 2016.
Investigation is continuing at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
