MANITOUWADGE, ON – WOW! Each year one of our students, Miah Wheadon, and her family do an awesome job of making sure our students and staff are educated about epilepsy which, unfortunately affects Miah herself.
On Epilepsy Awareness Day 2016, everyone at Manitouwadge Public School (MPS) supports Miah and others by wearing purple and taking part in a delicious bake sale. All of the proceeds from the bake sale – and funds collected as Miah promotes other items locally – are donated to an Epilepsy Awareness group.
Way to go Miah!
