Gerard Butler’s acting career began back in 1997 but it wasn’t until 2006, in his role as King Leonidas in 300, that he became a household name. The familiar quote “This is Sparta” (shouted by Butler’s character in 300) has seemingly been repeated time and after time in a number of different variations. In 2013, Butler furthered his perception as a Hollywood action hero by playing a tough as nails presidential security guard in “Olympus Has Fallen”. The movie was well received by movie goers who helped build a healthy box office tally of 160 million dollars. With such success, Butler and crew were summoned upon to produce a sequel “London Has Fallen” which is this week’s headline new release.
