Marathon OPP: Male Arrested and Charged for Break and Enter

OPPcolourMARATHON, ON – September 30, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m.,  members of the Marathon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of a break and enter at Highway 17, Town of Marathon.  A male subject that had unlawfully gained entry into a building was located and arrested by officers.  Further investigation revealed that the male had driven to the scene in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

The 43 year old male, Christian Alin TALBOT, of Kelowna, British Columbia has been charged with:

  • Break, Enter a Place to Commit an Indictable Offence
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code  

The male appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice for a bail hearing on October 1, 2016 and remains in custody.
