Marathon OPP – Update Structure Fire
MARATHON, ON –December 16, 2016 at approximately 8:15 a.m. there was a report of a structure fire in the Town of Marathon. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marathon detachment attended 1 Stevens Avenue, Marathon, where an abandoned apartment building, known as the Everest Bayview Apartments, was on fire. The Town of Marathon Fire Department and EMS attended the scene.
The North West Region Crime Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office continue to investigate this occurrence.
