Blowing snow advisory in effect for:

  • Fraserdale – Pledger Lake

Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring in some locations.

Snow and blowing snow starting tonight.

A low pressure system from southern Ontario is expected to track northeastwards into northern Quebec. As a result snow is expected to spread into the area tonight with total amounts on the order of 10 to 15 cm. A strengthening northwesterly flow on Wednesday is expected to produce widespread blowing snow with poor visibilities for most of the day.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
