Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Chapleau – Missinaibi Lake
  • Gogama – Foleyet

Significant snowfall expected today and tonight.

Snow, at times heavy, will start over regions east of Lake Superior this morning, and then spread to regions near the Quebec border by midday. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected.

Snowfall will taper end Wednesday morning.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
