#CrossoverInsider: New Relelase Trailers, Stamp Card Winner AND SPOOKY Movies


October has already marked the release of several major new titles including the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Baby Driver, The House and The Cult of Chucky. The rest of the month gets better with highly anticipated titles such as Annabelle 2, The Emojii Movie, War for the Planet of the Apes, The Dark Tower and Kidnap. This week is no exception to the trend. There are a total of seven new titles with the headline release being the re-launch of Peter Parker and the Spider-Man franchise starring Tom Holland in the main role.

Below is a brief synopsis of each of this week’s new movies;

Spider-Man Homecoming: starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr- Peter Parker balances his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his newfound superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, and finds himself on the trail of a new villain prowling the skies of New York City. Girls Trip: starring Queen Latifah and Regina Hall- Four lifelong friends travel to New Orleans where sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, leading to enough partying and romancing to make the Big Easy blush. First Kill: starring Bruce Willis and Hayden Christensen- After a bank heist gone wrong,  a man desperately attempts to evade a  determined police chief and some crooked cops, while hunting for a bag of missing money to swap for his kidnapped son.  (Action/Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge! 

Wizard of Lies: starring Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer-  The incredible TRUE STORY of the Ponzi scheme hatched by business Bernie Madoff which defrauded his clients of billions of dollars. (Drama/Crime) (DVD)

Hero: starring Sam Elliott- A veteran movie star, whose best years are behind him, must come to terms with his past and his impending mortality. (Drama/Comedy) (DVD)

Rock Dog: featuring the voice of Luke Wilson- When a radio falls from the sky into the hands of an enthusiastic Tibetan Mastiff, he leaves home to fulfill his dream of becoming a musician, setting into motion a series of completely unexpected events. Lady Macbeth: starring Florence Pugh-  In 19th-century rural England, a young bride who has been sold into marriage discovers an unstoppable desire within herself as she enters into a sordid affair with a worker on her estate. (Drama) (DVD)
