February is right around the corner and, like January, the hot new releases continue to hit our shelves at a steady pace. In a month where many Canadians will be cheering on our athletes as they compete at the Winter Olympics in South Korea, it’s important to leave time to stay up-to-date on hotly anticipated titles like; Bad Mom’s Christmas, Wonder, Daddy’s Home 2, Only The Brave, Coco and Murder on the Orient Express. A couple of Academy and Golden Globe nominated films (for example Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri) also debut in February making it a jam packed month to say the least. Shifting focus to here and now, this week sees the arrival of two new releases, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Boo 2! A Madea Halloween: starring Tyler Perry- Madea and the crew venture to a haunted graveyard where they encounter a whole slew of frightening creatures. (Comedy) (DVD) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
24 Hours To Live: starring Ethan Hawke- After an innovative procedure gives him a second chance to live, a hired assassin puts everything on the line to save an Interpol agent and her young son from a ruthless criminal enterprise.
