Over the past few years, escape rooms have emerged as a popular way for people of all ages to pass the time. Often done in specific themes, escape rooms test people’s abilities to work together to find clues while solving a series of riddles to unlock themselves from the room- usually within a set amount of time. But imagine if this fun concept turned all too real and deadly. Imagine if you were facing your own personal greatest fears with your life on the line. This concept is explored in this week’s headline new release “Escape Room”. There are three new titles this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Escape Room: starring Taylor Russell and Logan Miller- After receiving mysterious invitations promising a potential cash prize, six strangers must fight for their survival when their escape room experience takes a horrifying and deadly turn. Con is On: starring Uma Thurman and Tim Roth- In an effort to avoid paying off a massive gambling debt to a notorious mobster in England, a couple flees to Los Angeles where they hatch an elaborate jewel theft plot. (Comedy) (DVD) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge
