New Movies in Marathon & Manitouwadge PLUS May’s Top 10 Most Rented

When Tyler Perry first introduced us to Madea back in 1999, few could have predicted the popularity that the character would go on to achieve. The dress wearing, crude talking elderly woman (portrayed by Perry himself) tickled the funny bones of audiences across a broad spectrum leading to a plethora of movie releases. This week, Madea is back for the last time (at least that what Perry says) in “A Madea Family Funeral”- our headline new release. There are a total of seven new titles this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;

A Madea Family Funeral: starring Tyler Perry- A joyous family reunion becomes a hilarious nightmare as Madea and the crew travel to backwoods Georgia, where they find themselves unexpectedly planning a funeral that might unveil unpleasant family secrets. (Comedy) (DVD)

Gloria Bell: starring Julianne Moore and Sean Astin- A free-spirited divorcee spends her nights on the dance floor, joyfully letting loose at clubs around Los Angeles while looking for love. (Drama/Comedy) (DVD)

Legend of 5 Mile Cave: starring Jeremy Sumpter and Adam Baldwin- A mysterious stranger renting a room on a widow’s farm shares tales of the Old West with her young son. As they bond, the boy realizes the man holds a secret that may save their farm. (Western) (DVD) www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX2TtN4Y_sk

Man Who Killed Don Quixote: starring Adam Driver- A disillusioned film director is pulled into a time-jumping fantasy when he is mistaken for fictional character Sancho Panza. (Comedy/Adventure) (DVD)
