OPP Assist in Search To Locate Missing Person

THUNDER BAY, ON – The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently assisting the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) with a missing person investigation.

Police are requesting the assistance of the public in the search for Edward “Eddie” TREMBLAY. He is described as a 35 year old male, Caucasian, with curly, balding brown hair, brown facial hair and brown eyes. He is 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 230 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater with a black zipper, a green t-shirt with a Toronto Blue Jays emblem, faded light blue jeans and black shoes with light blue stitching.

Mr. TREMBLAY was last seen on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Hilldale Road.

TBPS officers, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) officers, OPP Canine Unit, and Lakehead Search and Rescue members are currently searching the Hilldale Road and Gorham Township area with air search assistance being provided from a local helicopter company.
