Top 10 Most Rented, This Week’s New Movies & Congratulations to AnnMarie Dakin

We’ve touched on it several times before- franchises that enjoy longevity spanning decades. One such franchise would certainly be Pokemon. Pikachu and the crew have been collected and traded in card form for many years while also starring in a plethora of video games. This week, Pikachu gets to add a full length movie to his credits. There are a whopping nine new releases this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;

Detective Pikachu: featuring the voice of Ryan Reynolds- When a detective goes missing, his son enlists the help of Pikachu as the two seek out clues to solve the case of the disappearance. (Family/Animated) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge

Poms: starring Diane Keaton and Rhea Perlman- Soon after moving to a retirement community, a woman bands together with other residents to form an unlikely cheerleading squad with goals of entering a national competition. (Comedy) (DVD)  Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge 

Uglydolls: featuring the voices of Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas- In the town of Uglyville, where strangeness and imperfections are celebrated, a curious group of friends travel to the other side of the mountain where they discover Perfection- a town where people are “normal” and “beautiful”. Descendants 3: starring Booboo Stewart- The teenage kids of Disney’s most infamous villains return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep. (Kids) (DVD)

Outsider: starring Trace Adkins- A railroad worker finds himself in a battle with a group of corrupt lawmen and must embark on a bloody quest to eliminate his enemies. (Western) (DVD)
