MARATHON, ON – March 7, 2012 the Marathon / Manitouwadge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at 25 Moose Drive, Manitouwadge Ontario.
As a result of the warrant a quantity of marijuana and other narcotics with an estimated street value of $26,000 was seized. A 38 year old female and a 50 year old male of Manitouwadge were charged with Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused were released from custody and will appear in Manitouwadge court May 16, 2012 to answer to the charges.
