WAWA, ON – January 5, 2014 at 11:00 am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were directing traffic at a motor vehicle collision scene on Highway 17 in Laronde Township.
A black Ford F-150 was observed driving in a dangerous manner and was stopped by police. Investigation by the officer led to the arrest of the driver, 51 year old Alain SIROIS of Richelieu, Quebec.
The accused stands charged with Impaired Operation and Blow Over 80 mgs. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on May 13, 2014.
