WHITE RIVER, ON – March 12, 2014 at 11:50 pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East White River Detachment were advised of a traffic complaint concerning a slow moving vehicle on Highway 17 just west of White River.
A black Cadillac was observed driving well below the posted 90 km/hr speed limit and was stopped by police. Investigation by the officer led to the arrest of the driver, 47 year old Chone MARACLE of St Catharines, Ontario.
The accused stands charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood and Driving While under Suspension. She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Wawa Criminal Court on April 14, 2014.
