WAWA OPP : THEFT OF 79 CAMARO

WAWA, ON – On Friday October 17, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were advised to of a break and enter into a seasonal residence on Hawk Lake just east of Wawa on Highway 101. The break in occurred sometime between October 14, 2014 after 1:00 pm and October 17, 2014 at 4:30 pm.
To enter the property the suspects cut the lock on the front gate and gained access through the garage. A 1979 fully restored Chevrolet Camaro; blue in colour was stolen from the garage. Also taken were four cans of gasoline, two power tools and five bottles of alcohol.
OPP have two male suspects that they are asking for the public’s help in identifying. They are described as white males in their mid-thirties wearing red and black checkered jack shirts and ball caps. Both males were observed on the property behind the locked gate on October 14.
