Traffic Stop Leads To Criminal Charge
WAWA, ON – On the 1 November 2014, at approximately 2:43 am members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were on general patrol on Mackey Street when they observed a red Chevrolet Sonic automobile disobey the stop sign at the intersection of Broadway Ave and Mackey Street.
OPP officers stopped the motor vehicle on Broadway Ave. and approached the driver side of the vehicle.
The investigation lead to the arrest of Tabitha BOULIANNE age 23 of Wawa, Ontario. BOULIANNE was charged with the following offence,
- Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood contrary to section 253 (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa, Ontario on December 8, 2014.
