LONGLAC, ON – The staff and students of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School stamped out bullying this week with the Pink Shirt Day celebrations held on Wednesday, February 25.

A movie trailer about the impact bullying has on a school culture, created by Grade 7/8 students, was shown to the student body who were asked to identify the creators’ message in the media text. Mrs. McPherson, representing the Catholic Women’s League of St. John the Baptist Church, handed out awards for their “stop bullying” poster challenge, and the virtue awards for this month were distributed as well.

All students are reminded that we all have a duty to stamp out bullying no matter what our role is in the situation.
