Terrace Bay Old Fashion Skating Party

Terrace Bay held its Annual Old Fashion Skating Party on Thursday December 1st and the community came out to take in the event. Visitors were treated to cupcakes and a visit from Santa Claus as they enjoyed their night on the ice. Terrace Bay holds the event every year in December and its a great way to encourage a healthy dose of active living for the whole family. The Terrace Bay Recreation Department organizes the event and Councils helps out by ensuring cupcakes find their way into visitors hands. The night also included the Annual Moonlight Madness event where the businesses in the Municipality offered great holiday sales and extended hours. The Municipality celebrated the night with a special lighting of the Terrace Bay Lighthouse in a merry green and red theme.
