SCHREIBER/TERRACE BAY, ON – The Aguasabon Chamber of Commerce recently organized a day of sales, draws, food specials and later operating hours for participating businesses and the visitors definitely came out to the event. The annual Moonlight Madness event for Schreiber and Terrace Bay was held on November 28 and 29th with a great turnout from the Community and high participation from the businesses.
A total of 24 businesses took part in the event and at times up to 50 people were witnessed in some of the area stores. Some of the business owners remarked that it was a great start to the Holiday season and they were very impressed by the response from the Community.
This year’s Moonlight Madness was also intending to rally support for the Aguasabon Chamber which is developing plans to become more active in the region. The next step for the Chamber will be developing a tentative plan for the upcoming year, hiring an intern in partnership with the Township or Terrace Bay and McCausland Hospital and developing a membership drive for expanding its activities.
