Elizabeth May To Visit Live from the Rock Folk Fest Saturday

ontariogreenTHUNDER BAY, ON – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP Saanich – Gulf Islands, will be visiting Northwestern Ontario on Saturday August 8, 2015 to join Bruce Hyer, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Thunder Bay – Superior North) and Christy Radbourne (Green Party candidate for Thunder Bay – Rainy River) at the Live from the Rock Folk Fest in Red Rock, Ontario.  

Ms. May’s visit will come two days after her participation in the first debate of the election season, the Maclean’s National Leaders Debate on August 6, 2015 during which May will debate with fellow party leaders Stephen Harper, Justin Trudeau and Tom Mulcair.

Ms. May told the Thunder Bay Greens: “I went to the Live From the Rock Fest last summer and it was fantastic. I am looking forward to enjoying great music, terrific local foods, going paddling or sailing, and greeting old and new friends.”

Ms. May will be available to speak with local constituents and media throughout the day on Saturday August 8, 2015 from the Live from the Rock Folk Fest site in Red Rock.
