#CrossoverInsider : New Release Trailers, Gaming News, Int’l #VideoStoreDay

There’s just something about natural disasters that seems to pique movie watchers’ interests. Twister, Perfect Storm, Dante’s Peak and Armageddon are all well known (and still well watched) movies based on a variety of different natural disasters. The latest entry into this genre, which also happens to be this week’s headline new release, is San Andreas starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Earthquake themed movie, based on an actual geographical fault of the same name, proved that natural disasters are still a major drawing card at the box office as San Andreas grossed a very respectable 155 million dollars at North American theatres.
