#CrossoverInsider : New Releases (While Tyler Is Away)
FROM THE EDITOR: Though Tyler Davis, Owner of Crossover Video and contributor of the weekly #CrossoverInsider is away this week he had wanted to ensure movie lovers in the region still had access to information about the week’s new releases and so provided the summaries below in advance. Tyler will be back next week with the regular #CrossoverInsider (including trailers, commentary, entertainment news, local business news, in-store event details and other goodies he shares in the #CI each week) but in the meantime, we wish him safe and enjoyable travels!
Without further ado, here are the New Releases (including a movie filmed in Thunder Bay) available this week at Crossover Video & Games in Marathon.
The 5th Wave: starring Chloe Grace Moretz – After four waves of increasingly deadly alien attacks have left most of Earth decimated, a young woman finds herself on the run desperately trying to save her younger brother.
Joy: starring Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro – A woman, who has always been fascinated with creating things, perseveres to become the founder and matriarch of a powerful business dynasty.
The Choice: starring Teresa Palmer – Travis and Gabby first meet as neighbors in a small coastal town and wind up in a relationship where they find themselves tested by life’s most defining events.
Pineville Heist: FILMED IN THUNDER BAY! A high school student stumbles into the aftermath of a bank robbery gone wrong and finds himself locked inside his school trying to keep himself and his teacher alive as a psychotic robber hunts them down.
Guns for Hire: starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan – Beatle is a quirky loner who refuses to live by society’s rules. Her only human contact is with her psychiatrist and the stripper that she employs once a week. Everything changes the night she meets Athena, a suicidal blonde with a secret.
