White RIver Male Charged with Assault
WAWA, ON – On Friday July 08, 2016 at approximately 2:00 am members of the Superior East White River Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a White River address regarding an assault.
Investigation revealed that a male had entered the residence and once inside assaulted another male.
As a result of this investigation police arrested and charged a 22 year old White River male with the following offences;
- Adult Break and Enter dwelling house – Commit Indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada,
- Adult- Assault Causing Bodily Harm contrary to section 267(b) of the C.C.C,
- Adult – Mischief Under $5,000 contrary to section 430(4) of the C.C.C.
The accused was transported to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario for Bail Hearing.
