The SuperiorGreenstone DSB complement of trustees includes one First Nation Trustee. As per the Education Act (O. Reg. 462/97) the First Nation Trustee is recognized as an elected Board member collectively chosen by the First Nations partners whom hold tuition agreements with Superior-Greenstone DSB. As of December 2015, the elected member of the Board is Stanley Sabourin. As the First Nation Trustee, Stanley has been appointed as the Chair of the NEAC. Additionally, the Board annually appoints two Trustees to NEAC. For 2017, Mark Mannisto and Marlo Sarrasin have been appointed.

The last two committees to have appointees assigned for the 2017 Board year were the Occupational Health and Safety Committee and the Transportation Committee.
